Two Azerbaijani women were found dead in Yuksekova settlement of Turkey’s Hakkari region.

Three persons, suspected of the death of two Azerbaijani women, have been detained in Turkey, said official of the Turkish consulate in Azerbaijan, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"The detained are residents of the Gurdere village - Halil Aslanoghlu, Javan Sarikenul and Kara Kurdoghlu. Currently, their participation in the murder of 46-year-old Aziza Huseynova and 26 year old Feyala Sharifova is being investigation", said the official.

He noted that the murder could have been committed for robbery.

APA reports with reference to Turkish mass media that the bodies were found on the roadside near Gurdere village of Yuksekova. The women, who had been shot dead, were identified. They are Aziza Huseynova, 46 and Khayala Sharifova, 26. It is not known why the Azeri women went to Hakkari located in the south-east of Turkey, on border with Iraq, and who killed them.
