11 arrested due to explosion in Abu Bekir Mosque

Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry made a statement on the explosions committed in Abu Bekir mosque and Khatai District as well as armed conflict in the territory bordering on Russia.
The press Service for the Interior Ministry told APA that 11 had been arrested as a result of search operations carried out for arresting the criminals, who committed explosion in Abu Bekir mosque, where two were killed and 18 people were injured in the aftermath of the blast on August 17 this year. A pistol and banned religious books were taken from them.

Moreover, Baku city residents Chingiz Amakhanov and Samad Faxri accused in explosion of a Transformer of Baku Electricity Network OJSC in Khatai District on August 22 have been arrested. Two were killed and three injured in the result of explosion.
