There are 4,900,000 mobile communication subscribers in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan accounted for 4,900,000 mobile communication subscribers as of July 1.
According to chief of department for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies Rashad Nabiyev, this indicator has risen by 381,500 people as compared to the early this year.

Thus, the mobile communication is used by every 56.5 out of 100 people in the country.

It should be noted that Azercell, Bakcell and Azerfon are currently operating in the GSM format and CATEL in the CDMA format in Azerbaijan.
