Musavat party condemns the arrest of its activity in Nakhchivan, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service of the party.

As is reported, the party activist, Julfa resident Intiqam Ismaylov faced a problem while getting foreign passport.
After he presented documents to the registration department to get the passport, he was demanded to give AZN 10.
After he rejected to give a bribe, he was arrested and taken to an unknown place. Later the city court arrested him under article "Violation of public order".
The Musavat party assesses the incident as a growing pressure on Musavat party activists in the election period, as well as demonstration of high corruption level in the country. The party demands from the due bodies to restore the violated rights of Intigam Ismaylov, punish officials, who demanded a bribe and police officers, arresting the citizen illegally.
In turn, Musavat party chairman Arif Hajili said, Ismaylov has not been released so far.
