"The information was received by the press service for the Internal Ministry, after which we posted it on our website. Then I contacted the investigator, conducting the case, it was revealed that a person, who appealed to the police, is not an employee of the Azercell company", said spokesman for the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan Sadiq Gozelov.

During the operative search, held by officers of the Sabail district policy station of Baku, it was revealed that information about high-jack of VAZ-21124, belonging to Azercell company, and theft of AZN 25,764, also belonging to this company, is not true.

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Internal Ministry of Azerbaijan that Azercell employee Babek Asadov along with his friends Alekper Hajiyev and Yashar Mirzayev parked the car at quite a different place on purpose, thus trying to mislead the law enforcement bodies.

It is not specified whether AZN 25,764 were in the car. No details of the incident have been reported.
