Azerbaijan accounts for 1,100 renal insufficiency patients

"The amount, invested to health, has risen by over 4 times through the past five years", said Azerbaijan's Minister of Health Oqtay Shiraliyev during the press conference in the Yeni Azerbaijan party.
He said 9 state programs had been adopted in healthcare.

"There are 1,100 renal sufficiency patients in the country. Over 700 patients undergo dialize from state funds", said Shiraliyev.

The Minister noted that the number of diabetics had risen from 63,000 to 70,000 and they are rendered state assistance.
