Azerbaijan plans to apply navigation system, which has no rivals in the CIS, in 2009.
The due announcement was made by chairman for the State Committee for Land and Cartography Qarib Mamedov.
He said 35 stations were installed in a number of country's regions for the purpose.
"We intend to apply a system, by means of which each person would be able to get exact information from everywhere".
Mamedov announced that the companies, offering such a service today, use the Google search system, but images are not too sharp there.
The World Bank has assigned $38,000,000 of credit to Azerbaijan for the project.
"Of them $15,000,000 will be used for the geodesic works, land cadaster, cartography. The project also involves the state immovable property register, Ministry of Justice and other state structures. They received the remaining $23,000,000".
It should be noted that equipment was purposed from a number of foreign countries in the framework of the project.
