Khazar Ibrahim: "The Azerbaijani government will provide aid to hurricane-hit Myanmar"

The due announcement was made by spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Khazar Ibragim.

"Azerbaijan, as a responsible member of the world society,has also supported different states during natural calamities. The same was during tsunami in the southeastern Asia, in Pakistan and in many other countries.

This time Azerbaijan will provide aid once more. Currently our mission under the United Nations and our due diplomatic representation are engaged in the issue for development of mechanisms on provision of the said aid", said Ibrahim.

It should be noted that thousands of people fell victims of a tropical cyclone Nargiz, which hit Mianma.
