Azerbaijan to apply intellectual transport regulation system in 2008

The due announcement was made by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at a session on the development of highway network in the country, according to the press service for the President.

The President of Azerbaijan noted that during the visit to Korea he familiarized with this system and demonstrated particular interest in it.

"We have signed a contract and this system will be applied in Azerbaijan, as well. It will have a positive influence on the city transport", I.Aliyev noted,

According to him, Azerbaijan has attained significant success in the sphere of motor transport and planned development of all its trends is carried out.

"Our country is strong in the world financial sector. We do not face great problems with getting financial resources on the world financial market. Azerbaijan can also get loans in any amount", Aliyev noted.

He said the state budget for 2008 has already been ratified however possibility of amendments to the budget is not ruled out.

"I think the amendments will be introduced in period of budget correction both in the sphere of transport, as well as in other spheres. Therefore, I think all proposals should be reviewed within one or two months and priority issues of 2008 be included into the budget of 2008", the President noted.
