Azerbaijani Justice Ministry starts work on extradition of British pedophile

Azerbaijani Justice Ministry has received a questionnaire and a decision of Court on extradition of British citizen Patrick O’Brian who was accused of raping five children, through diplomatic channels in Great Britain.

The due announcement was made by Zavar Gaafarov, head of Azerbaijani Justice Ministry’s International Legal Cooperation Department, APA reports.

He stated that the decision and documents of English Court are in line with 1957 European Convention on Extradition joined by Azerbaijan and Great Britain.

The criminal was detained and arrested by the decision of the court.

Azerbaijani Justice Ministry has already started work on extradition of British citizen.
