Azerbaijani Parliament offers UN to declare February 26 a Day of Victims of Aggression

MP Sayavush Novruzov stated that adoption of statement on the anniversary of Khojaly genocide by the Parliament is expedient.

MP Ali Ahmadov noted that, they should appeal to UN via Foreign Ministry and achieve the recognition of February 26 as a Day of Victims of Aggression.

MP Elton Mammadov proposed to give a special status to Khojaly city and its residents. He stressed that Khojaly residents were subjected to genocide.
