The victims of Khojaly tragedy were commemorated in Netania, Israel.

Josef Shagal, Knesset deputy, chairman of the Israel-Azerbaijan interparliamentary fraction, President of AzIz, delivered a speech during the night, which was opened by the chairman of the Netanian department of the International Association Izrael-Azerbaijan (AzIz) Alen Katrich.
"The tragedy of Khojaly, hundreds of innocent victims of Nazis from among children, women and elderly people is not only a green wound for the Azerbaijani people. The bloody events in Khojaly became the darkest prelude to the further Armenian occupation of almost the fourth part of the territory of Azerbaijan, continuing until now.
Israel has announced repeatedly on different levels that it supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Israel's attitude to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is that this counteraction should be settled peacefully with the use of all international peacekeeping structures, involved for its resolution.
However, this dialog could bring real results only in case Armenia releases all the occupied lands of Azerbaijan unconditionally", Shagal announced.
The detailed report on the tragedy, which took place on the night of February 26 of 1992, was made by Professor Rovshan Mustafayev, head of the Institute for Human Rights of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science, staying in Israel on the invitation of the institute JC public relations research.
Among the visitors, there were the relatives and friends of those who fell victims that night. Each one tried to share his bitterness and bitter pain of the Khojaly tragedy.
AzIz general manager Lev Spivak addressing the event reminded the words of "The Appeal to the Azerbaijani people" of the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev regarding the 10th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy: "... This cruel and merciless act of genocide entered the history of the humanity as one of the mass terrorist acts...Today the government and the people of Azerbaijan have a task to bring to the world governments, parliaments and community the whole truth about the Khojaly genocide... This is our civil and human debt to the victims of the Khojaly tragedy..."
"This is a civil and human debt of not only the government and the people of Azerbaijan but of each one who was born in Azerbaijan, regardless of the site of their residence, nationality and religion", Spivak announced.
Egana Salman, director of Azerbaijan Culture enter, chairman of the committee for protection of the cultural and historical heritage of Azerbaijan under the AzIz International Association said in his speech: "...16 years have passed since the Khojaly tragedy. The economic potential, military strength and political influence of Azerbaijan are increasing day by day. The decisive policy of President Ilham Aliyev is successful... Let our efforts be for the soonest just resolution of Nagorno Karabakh problem!"
The film of director Ziya Shikhlinskiy "Prayer", which impressed the audience greatly and reminded of the atrocities of fascists and brother friendship of the peoples of Azerbaijan, was demonstrated after that,
The participants commemorated the victims by a minute of silence and lighted a kindle of soul which will burn for 24 hours.
