Search of MIQ-29 crew brings results

A corpse of one of the pilots from an air force jet which crashed into Caspian Sea on January 29th was found yesterday.

As a result of joint efforts of all organizations involved in the search process, the corpse was found 6 kilometer from the shore, at a depth of 15-17 meters.

The due announcement was made by a source from the PR department of Azerbaijan's Emergency Ministry, APA reports.

Underwater shooting of the plane has already been done, and some heavy-duty techniques were also involved.

As a corpse of one of the pilots has been determined on the air crash place, a process of his extraction has already started.

The ministry also said the heavy-duty techniques brought to the site of the crash currently operate to extract the plane and its fragments.

It should also be mentioned, that the MIQ -29 air force jet belonging to the Air forces of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense crashed into the Caspian Sea on January 29 of this year. As a result of the crash both crew members – Fakhraddin Askerov and Afgan Aslanov- died.
