Editor-in-chief of the Mukhalifat newspaper Rovshan Kabirlli and the journalist of this newspaper Yashar Agazade will file a claim to the European Court of Grave Crimes in the near future.
The due information has been provided by lawyer Rashid Gadjili.
He said the claim to be submitted to the European Court points out the violation of the freedom of expression under article 10 of the European Convention, their illegal punishment and demand for compensation.
Gadjili noted that the claim is currently being developed.
It should be noted that on December 28 of 2007, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev passed a decree to pardon 119 prisoners, including the editor-in-chief of the Mukhalifat newspaper Rovshan Kabirli and journalist Yashar Agazade.
