NGOs to nominate candidates to NGO Support Council

In accordance with the “Regulations on NGO Government Support Council” endorsed by President Ilham Aliyev’s decree of December 13, 2007, a meeting of specialized NGO groups will be held in February 2008 in order to ensure nomination of candidates to the Council.

The meeting is open to NGOs specializing in the fields of human rights, democracy, family, women, child, refugee, veterans, educational, scientific, cultural, youth, health, environment, human trafficking and anti-terrorism fight.

Each NGO can be represented in the meeting in one specialized group only.

NGOs can apply to the Presidential Administration until February 10 for participating in the meeting and nominating candidates.
