Azerbaijan joins Eastern European Regional Anti-doping Organization

Azerbaijan has become a member of the Eastern European Regional Anti-doping Organization, which comprises 10 countries.

According to the press service for the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the said organization already cooperates with Russia, Belarus, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegria, Serbia and Ukraine.

Its functions include conduction of doping-tests, analysis of results, issues of appeal and many others.

Azerbaijan will be represented by Irada Rustamzade, chief of the anti-doping sector under the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
