Azerbaijan's representation in UN marks Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis in New York

According to the press service for the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis, living abroad, the event was attended by over 300 representatives of Diaspora organizations of other people along with representatives of Diaspora organizations of Azerbaijanis.

The event was held with participation of Mark Davidovich, chief of department for international affairs under the Brooklyn city administration, Eldar Guliyev, chief executive of the All-Russia Congress of Azerbaijanis, and Adil Bagirov, vice president of the International Research Institute "Worldwide Strategic Partners".

A letter of congratulation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressing all Azerbaijanis of the world was read during the event.

The documentaries "We are Azerbaijanis" and "There are 50 million of us" were demonstrated following the official part of the event.
