Russia fixes over 37,000 labor migrants from Azerbaijan

Russia fixed 37,537 labor migrants from Azerbaijan in the first half of 2007, as reported by Rauf Tagiyev, the chief of Migration Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan.
He said the migrants are mainly engaged on the market of vegetables and clothes, as well as in the field of construction.

"At the same time, the number of migrants totaled 21,309 last year and 17,302 in 2005", R.Tagiyev noted.

He said the quote of labor migration from Azerbaijan to Russia for 2008 has not been defined yet.
