Vishnevskaya-Rostropovich Foundation's new president to be elected

The next meeting of Board of Directors of Vishnevskaya-Rostropovich Foundation (VRF) will unveil the name of new president of body.

Azerbaijan Representation of the foundation told APA the meeting is expected to take place by the end of the year. After Mstislav Rostropovich's death the activity of fund was governed by Galina Vishnevskaya and her daughter Yelena Rostropovich.

The Foundation was established in 1991. Mistislav Rostropovich was founder and president until his death in April 27, 2007.
