Flood removed in Agstafachay

The level of the water has normalized in the Agstafachay river, flood and stream threat has been removed.

Deputy Chief of Agstafa executive power Ramiz Tatarov told the APA's western bureau they have already calculated the cost of the damage.

"Soon restoration is planned to be held in the flood-hit Poylu bridge which connects seven villages of the region," he said.

Tatarov said though the level of the water in Kyur in Agstafa region is reduced, approximately 450 hectares of area was overflowed as a result of the water rise several times ago.

Flood in the Agstafachay damaged old railway bridge and automobile bridge connecting seven villages of the region was as a result of heavy rain on May 15, and the flood washed some areas used by residents.
