Next bird flu monitoring starts in Azerbaijan

Next monitoring of bird flu started in Azerbaijan from today, chief of State Veterinary Service Yolchu Khanveli told.

Absheron peninsula and Pirallahi island will be monitored today and Deveci, Salyan, Agjabadi and Lenkeran afterwards.

The monitoring will end on May 25. The samples taken during the monitoring will be analyzed next week and the results will be publicized on June 2.

The decision on monitoring in summer will depend on the results of this monitoring, APA reports.
