Trial of reported wahabite starts

Trial on case of Geybulla Mamadov, accused of illegally keeping weapons and reportedly to be wahabite started.

Mammadov was arrested on February 8. National Security Ministry Guba department and Guba police found 1 Kalashnikov submachine gun, 2 hand grenades, 30 cartridges, 2 magazines and religious literature.

Mammadov's relatives told the APA north bureau that police inspector returned the confiscated religious literature and videocassettes to them.
