Violent assault in Girmizi Korpu border checkpoint with two injuries

The incident took place between local residents and persons who attempted to take control of trade stores in Girmizi korpu.

As the local population protested against privatization of market by strangers in the mentioned territory, the tension escalated.

Assistant Military Prosecutor of Gazakh region Firad Aliyev told APA the soldiers meddled in the conflict as the incident escalated. Two soldiers of Azerbaijan Army Elmir Rustamov and Zakir Huseynov were stabbed.

The case is being investigated. Prosecutor's assistant did not give details of crime because of investigation.

Gazakh region central hospital told APA the soldiers received knife blow and was operated on. Their health is satisfactory.
