Editor attacked by unknown men

Uzeyir Jafarov, editor of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper appealed to Yasamal district police office for undergoing physical assault by unknown men.

Police inspector Ramiz Shiriyev started investigating the case. Criminal case has not been launched on the case yet.

Uzeyir Jafarov told the APA his head has been badly injured and he is being cured in Musa Nagiyev Hospital.

Two men attacked on Uzeyir Jafarov while he was leaving the editorial office of Gundelik Azerbaijan. The editor said they wanted to knife him, but escaped when they saw the correspondents of the newspaper.
