Strasburg hosts conference on Shah Ismayil Khatayi

A scientific-literary conference dedicated to Azerbaijani poet and statesman Shah Ismayil Khatayi’s life and activity was held in Strasburg on April 19.

The conference will be held in Azerbaijani House in Strasburg. Azerbaijani House, Mark Bloch University and ANAS Literature Museum named after Nizami Ganjavi intends to hold range of events on the 520th anniversary of Khatayi.

Azerbaijani parliamentarian, professor Rafael Huseynov's report "Shah Ismayil Khatayi's Azerbaijani statehood and his place in Azerbaijani literature" was heard in the event held in Azerbaijani House in Strasburg.

Azerbaijani students in Strasburg, Iranian Azerbaijanis and foreign guests attended the conference. APA
