Azersu OSJC holds press conference on 2006 overall results

Azersu OSJC chief Nizameddin Rzayev has today held press conference on the 2006 overall results. The attendees were informed about taken measures and prospective plans.

Rzayev noted that the company reconstructed 240.8km-length water line and 113.1km-length sewage collector in Baku and other regions of the republic. 9850 cubic meter-capacity 16 water basins, 82,750 cubic meters-capacity 13 water receiving complexes, 11 water pump stations, one floating pump facility, four sewage pump station were constructed and some other measures were fulfilled.

During this period 21.2km-length water line, 31.9km sewage line, 78 cubic meter-capacity 9 water basins and one sewage pump station were constructed in Baku, APA reports.

Commenting on the measures taken in the regions, he noted that water source and water line of Shamkir region have been reconstructed. The project of sewage system of the city has been developed and a part of construction works has been completed.
Moreover the company has changed old lines to new ones and constructed 22.1km-length sewage line.

Azersu OSJC has completed construction of water lines, sewage lines, water basis and pump stations and sewage pump station in the districts of Baku in the frame of measures Plan on acceleration of socio-economic development.

Rzayev has informed about the implementation of Oghuz-Gabala-Baku water line project and noted that the line will go on steam in 2008.
