Azeri to be deported from Russia attempts suicide

Press secretary of Chita Center for Human Rights Anastasiya Kopteyeva confirmed the fact. She noted that the reception station has driven Sahib Aliyev to suicide. She also noted that the court decision on deportation of Sahib Aliyev is not just.

Lawyer Vyacheslav Parfyonov appealed to chief of Chita court and asked to reconsider Sahib Aliyev's case. As for the lawyer, thought Sahib Aliyev has violated passport regime, the court could give light penalty about him.

"Sahib has been living with his elder brothers and parents in Chita more than three years. He has a little daughter, and court's decision will separate the parent with his child. This is inadmissible," the lawyer said.

Sahib Aliyev is the participant of the confrontation between locals and Azerbaijanis in Kharagun village of Chita last year, and court recognized him as sufferer. He is in bad health now. Court will decide whether to deport him from the country, APA reports.
