Ali Insanov makes final statement

Today trial on case of former Health Minister Ali Insanov and ten more defendants accused of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery continued at Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes. The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov.

Accused Aleksandr Umnyashkin made his final statement noting that he is not guilty, and asked the court to give light penalty about him.

Then Ali Insanov made his final statement. He also did denied accusations against him.

Accused Eldar Rzayev confessed that he took bribes and gave the money to Akif Maharramov.

Akif Maharramov and Haji Aliyev asked the court to give light penalty.

The trial will continue on April 20, APA reports.
