Zeyneb Mammedyarova gains third victory in European championship

Azerbaijani chess player Zeyneb Mammedyarova has strengthened her position in leaders' group of the European personal championship which takes place in Dresden, Germany.

Mammedova beat Czech opponent Jana Yatskova in the third round following two German players in previous encounters. She will play against Slovenian Anna Muzchuk in the next round.

Turkan Mammedyarova also performs successfully. She drew with Armenian Lilit Mkrtchian in the third round and has 2 points. Ilahe Gedimova, Firuze Velikhanl? and Nergiz Umudova have scored 2 points each after three rounds.

Mehriban Shukurova has 1,5, Afag Khudaverdiyeva 1, Kheyalə Isgenderova 0,5 points. Gedir Huseynov, Vugar Heshimov and Vasif Durarbeyli are best among other Azeri players after scoring 2 points.

Elmir Huseynov and Eltaj Seferli have 1,5, Logman Guliyev 0,5 points, APA reports.
