Boeing-747 freighter makes trial landing in Ganja Airport

Friday, a Boeing-747 cargo aircraft made a trial landing in Ganja International Airport, an airport in a western region of Azerbaijan, which was reconstructed last year.

The Cargolux-owned aircraft, used for Hong-Kong route, made a successful landing in the new airport.

Boeing-747 freighter weigh above 400 tonnes unloaded, APA reports.

One-year reconstruction works were carried out in Ganja Airport and its opening ribbon was cut by the President Ilham Aliyev on October 31, 2006.
