New education bill not to be debated in the parliament soon

"The new education bill is not expected to be debated in the Parliament soon," Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov told journalists.

He said that the draft has not yet debated in the parliament's science and education commission.

"Other related bodies need to give consent for the discussion of this draft in the parliament. The draft is not yet ready for debate in the parliament," he said.

Commenting on the discussion of the education bill during the parliament's spring session, the minister underlined that it is premature to say something about this, APA reports.
