Azerbaijanis injured in cafe explosion in Ukraine

The explosion in the 'Dinamo' cafe in Yalta, Ukraine has injured about 20-25 people, including 15-16 Azerbaijanis and three Turkish.

Ukraine Emergencies Ministry's local office says the explosion was caused by violation of safety rules when using gas bag in the caf? at the Yalta market. Fire began just after the explosion. 13 injured were hospitalized. Three of them are in critical condition.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Talat Aliyev told the APA that the cafe is owned by Azerbaijani businessman named Aziz. 20-25 people, including 15-16 Azerbaijanis were suffered during the explosion.

"3 people are in the resuscitation of Yalta hospital, others are in the wards. 2 people have been urgently sent to Simferopol," the ambassador said.

The ambassador said that regional organization of Ukraine Azerbaijanis Congress is rendering assistance to our injured compatriots.

The chief of regional organization Rahim Humbatov regularly informs the Embassy on the condition of our compatriots, APA reports.
