Three contract HIV in Azerbaijani region

Three men in Ganja were infected with HIV virus within first three month of this year.

Two of them are former prisoners and one is patient of Regional Pulmonology Centre, Ganja City Sanitary and Epidemiology Center department's chief Almaz Tomiyeva told APA.

She said that generally, 35 people contracting HIV have been registered by Ganja AIDS Centre. Three people living with HIV virus are married and others are young and unmarried.

Tomiyeva also added that two Ganja residents infected with HIV virus sent to Baku for treatment.
