Arif Hasanov, director of the Azerbaijan Republic Seismological Centre of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA the latest earthquakes in Azerbaijan should not cause panic. "It is not threatening. I always say that we observe about 1000 earthquakes each year and it is normal," he said.
Earthquake occurred in Shaki region on March 29. The deputy director of the Seismological Centre Gurban Yetirmishli said that the earthquake occurred at 1.37 p.m was too light to be felt.
Another earthquake happened in Shaki some days ago.
