International conference "Heydar Aliyev and religious policy in Azerbaijan: Realities and prospects" to be held

He also said that the conference will be attended by representatives from 21 countries. The participants of the conference are state officials, religious figures, theologians, specialists on Azerbaijan and the Caucasus, ambassadors to Azerbaijan and they are expected to address the meeting.

Chief of the Caucasus Moslems Office Hadji Allahshukur Pashazade is also to attend the international conference.

The conference is to issue resolution and appeal to Azerbaijani President and international organizations, APA reports.

Hidayat Orudjov emphasized the wideness of the subject "Heydar Aliyev and religious policy in Azerbaijan: Realities and prospects".

"The positive religious situation, ensure of freedom of religion, good relations between confessions, tolerance towards national and religious minorities in Azerbaijan are welcoming, and this tolerance is supported by the government."
