Baloglan Ashrafov to undergo surgery at weekend

Ashrafov's son Elshan Ashrafov told the APA that the donor will be their 30-year old relative.

"The doctors say that if the patient feels well, the surgery will be successful. Therefore Baloglan Ashrafov is to undergo surgery on Saturday," he said.

Ashrafov said that Baloglan Ashrafov will be able to return to Azerbaijan ten days after the surgery and added that he feels well.

Baloglan Ashrafov was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital with cirrhosis on March 8. Following this, Ashrafov was taken to Memorial hospital in Istanbul, Turkey.
