The court proved that terrorist act was plotted by Armenian intelligence and committed by separatist Sadval Lezgin organization.
Sadval activists have been to Armenia several times since 1992. Armenian national security department closely participated in forming, financing and arming the organization, APA reports.
30 Azerbaijanis-Lezgins by nationality had a special training in the settlement of Lusakert of Nairi region of Armenia in April-May, 1992. The investigation showed that provokers planned to explode Nizami cinema, Republic Palace and Baku Lamp Plant along with 20 January metro station.
30 members of Sadval, accused of exploding 20 January metro station and having special training in Armenia were held accountable.
