Azerbaijani Youth and Sports minister receives UNICEF regional director

Today Azerbaijani Youth and Sports minister Azad Rahimov has received UNICEF regional director for East and Middle Europe Maria Calivis.

Rahimov spoke about mutual cooperation between the YSM and the UNICEF stressing joint activities against drug addiction, juvenile delinquency and AIDS. The minister noted that the activities will be continued in 2007-Youth Year in Azerbaijan, as well.

Calivis expressed satisfaction with the activities in the relevant field in Azerbaijan, ministry's press secretary Ragif Abbasov told APA-Sport.
