Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry's labs in Beilagan and Gazakh make strong efforts

The reason why is the pollution of the Debet River as the result of the accident occurred in "Axtala" mining plant and investigation into the probable pollution of the Kyur river.

At present the labs are taking samples from the Khram, Kyur, Tovuzchay, Aghstafachay and Aghstafachay reservoir in Gazakh territory and controlling the pollution.

The samples taken by the Gazakh analytic research lab on March 6 show that only oil, oil products, phenols exceed the norm in mentioned reservoirs. The researches conducted by Beilagan lab proved that ion density exceeds the norm. Besides, mineralization in those water reservoirs is twice more in comparison with February.

The Ministry noted that during monitoring of the Araz River, it was observed that the river is polluted with copper combinations. The reason is floating of wastes to the Araz River through Bergushad river and Okhuchay river.
