Natalya Mammadova makes her debut in Italian volleyball league

"Natalya's debut was more successful than we expected. She played excellent especially in the decisive set. Mammadova showed 70% effectiveness in attack in the third set. In general, she cope with all duties. Mammadova is just a splendid forward. She managed to get adjusted to the team members easily in short time," stated BigMat Sanpaolo Chieri club head coach Giovanni Guidetti.

He stated that victory in visit match increased chances for the team to pass to the Italian championship play-off.

"My team is ready physically and mentally. I think we will keep our place in serie A. This is main objective for now. Our next target is to pass to the play-off. If we continue successful performances, we will manage it," he said.

Mammadova has signed a three-month deal with Chieri last week. She scored 21 points in the encounter against Lines Altamura club. The visit match ended in 3-0 victory of Chieri , APA-Sport reports.
