Azeri karatekas to join youth olympiad in Las Vegas

Azerbaijani karate fighters will participate in the first youth olympiad to start April 7 in US city of Las Vegas.

National Karate Federation president Yashar Bashirov told APA-Sport that Azerbaijan will be represented with four sportsmen in the two-day competition. Sanan Aliyev (60 kg) will join 16-17-year-old competition, Rustam Madatov (60 kg), Vugar Jabbarli (65 kg) and Shahin Atamov (75 kg) will join 18-20-year-old fights.

Fighters from 50 countries will attend the competition.
