Heavy wind damaged Sheki by AZN1.5mln

The damage of the heavy wind in the region of Sheki on the night of Feb 21-22 has been calculated, Sheki Emergencies Commission deputy chief Valeh Elekberov told.

He said that Sheki region has been damaged by AZN1.5mln. The deputy chief stated that the wind damaged 7 administrative buildings, 32 residential buildings, 45 educational and 15 health institutions, 7 cultural centers, 526 village houses, 30 others in the center and 10.000 ha winter grain field.

He noted that villages Bash Zeyzid, Orta Zeyzid and Verezet suffered most, APA reports.
