Security Ministry impostor arrested

Gurbanov was wanted on the article (appropriation of power of officials) by Sebayel Police department, APA reports.

The investigations proved that Gurbanov previously presented himself as the official of Azerbaijan's State Student Admission Commission and took big sum of money telling people that he would assist their children’s adoption to the universities. He took the certificates and entrant lists of the children and did not return back. A criminal case was launched on the Article 178.2 (roguishness) of criminal code.

It turned out that Gurbanov had also introduced himself as the official of President's Office and some other state structures and contracted with some persons aiming at get money and promised them to help their appointment to different posts.

The people who have information about his crimes or suffered from his crimes are asked to appeal to NSM district offices (phone: 405-99-99). At the same time NSM asks people to demand NSM card when coming across with such situations.
