UNESCO not informed about number of Azeri monuments destroyed by Armenians

"UNESCO may participate in the assessment process of the monitorings on the destruction of cultural monuments by Armenians in the occupied Azeri territories," Secretary General of Azerbaijan National Commission for the UNECO Fuad Isgenderov stated.

As APA reports, he told that only authorized organizations can release the destruction results.

"UNESCO has its own direction of activity. It doesn’t mean UNESCO leadership is uninformed about what is going on. But we have no information about the number of monuments destroyed by Armenians," he said.
