Agajan Abiyev and Gabil Mehdiyev nominated for Public TV Broadcasting Council

Term of office of the Public TV Broadcasting Council's three members expired, therefore National Television and Radio Council is choosing new representatives to these posts, NTRC informs.

Sport organizations, in the meeting held for electing a new candidate, nominated candidacy of rector of Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sport Agajan Abiyev and editor-in-chief of "Idman" (Sport) newspaper Gabil Mehdiyev.

It is in the parliament's competence to choose one of these candidates.

Religious organizations will nominate their candidates today and creative organizations will nominate candidates February 23, APA reports.
