Another prisoner dies in Gobustan jail

Letter from the jail says that Imanov was in a long-term meeting with his sister and mother that day. On the third day of meeting Imanov did not wake up. His family members say that Imanov was healthy and did not suffer from any disease.

The officers of the jail said that the prisoner died because of overdose.

The prisoners wrote in the letter that they haven't heard that Imanov used drugs.

Garadagh Prosecutor Tariyel Gurbanov confirmed the fact to the APA and said that the investigation is under way.

The prosecutor noted that the prisoner is supposed to die of heart failure.

Imanov had cramp on the third day of his meeting. Forensic examination will be conducted to find out the reasons of his death.

Gurbanov said that Kyurdamir resident Imanov who was born in 1980 got life sentence being accused of deliberate murder, rape, banditry, robbery, keeping and selling illicit guns, ordinances.
