UEFA not includes Azerbaijan in Intertoto Cup

UEFA has released the list of countries to participate in the 2007-2008 Intertoto Cup. Azerbaijan was not included in the list.

AFFA Competition Organization Department chief Melik Hasanov told APA-Sport it
was a misunderstanding.

"We receive documents from the UEFA annually and inform the organization about our decision to participate in the tournament. But we have not received such documents this year," he said.

Hasanov stated that he will investigate the issue and clear up the misunderstanding.
