President Aliyev decrees on development of theatre

By the decree President assigns Culture and Tourism Ministry to reconstruct and supply with relevant equipment Palace named after Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijani State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Azerbaijan State Theatre for Young Spectators', Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theatre and Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre, and to implement the reconstruction of buildings of Azerbaijan State Youths' Theatre, Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theatre, as well as Irevan State Azerbaijan State Drama Theatre and Shusha State Musical Drama Theatre.

The ministry has also been assigned to work out proposals on reconstruction of the buildings of Fuzuli and Aghdam Sate Drama Theaters which are at present under occupation till August 1, 2007 and to present the proposals on the reconstruction of theatres with local administrations to the Cabinet of Ministers till July 1, 2007 and present State Program "Azerbaijani theatre in 2008-2018" to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Baku Major's Office has been assigned to reconstruct Green Theatre and to supply with necessary equipment, President's Office told the APA.
