Azeri physician contributes to cancer treatment

Young Azerbaijani doctor Vugar Yagublu was awarded Doctor of Medicine by Heldelberg University of Germany.

Yagublu and German doctor Keese Michael invented biosensor which makes it possible to detect apoptosis in living beings and tested it successfully. This biosensor helps to test effectiveness of preparations and to study the mechanism of resistance to medicines in cancer cells. Thebiosensor can be applied in working out individual treatment tactics for patients suffering from cancer. APA
