Azeri businessman killed in Moscow

The murder case happened in front of the house #5 in Jemchugov Alley. Unknown person came up to Sariyev when he wanted to get into his car Chrysler and shot at his head. Our compatriot died in the site. Special investigation group has been established to inspect the case.

It is not ruled out that Chingiz Sariyev was killed because of business affairs, as he owned some trade establishments in Veshnyak market.

Chief of Russian Azerbaijanis Congress Moscow Office Ilgar Hajiyev told the APA that late Chingiz Sariyev was prominent businessman.

"Though Chingiz was not the chief of Diaspora, but he was active businessman. He chaired Veshyak market. Murder case occurred in the afternoon today. We do not know the murderer yet. At the present prosecutor's bodies are investigating the case. We regret Chingiz's death; he was influential person in the society. He was born in Garajalli village of Azerbaijani region of Ujar, he was the eldest of nine brothers," he said.
